As kids, we imagined that we’d see flying cars, get a close gadget resemblance of Anywhere Door, and have capsules in place of food by the time we grew up. While I’m glad that food turned to capsules is not prevalent, I would’ve loved to have an Anywhere Door. Slowly but surely, humankind is moving to automation and Artificial Intelligence.  We don’t have our personal robots yet, but Alexa comes close.

AI has been in the buzz for quite some time now. From chatbots and virtual assistants to self-driving cars and personalized healthcare, AI-powered solutions are transforming the way we live and work.

But can AI do more than just make our lives easier and more convenient? Can it actually save the world from some of its most pressing challenges?

When we think about AI, doubts arise about whether or not AI would improve or hinder cybersecurity. While AI has the potential to enhance cybersecurity by detecting and responding to threats more efficiently and effectively, there are also concerns that AI could be used by cybercriminals to develop more sophisticated attacks. 

Reliance on AI-based solutions could create a false sense of security as well.

The impact of AI can boost local economies up to 26% by 2030, according to a PWC report. Out of the $15.7 trillion global impact it is set to make, $9.1 trillion is projected to result from consumption-side benefits, with $6.6 trillion coming from higher production.

Additionally, studies indicate that by 2030, improvements to products will account for 45% of all economic benefits, increasing customer demand. This is due to the fact that when AI develops, product variety will expand along with personalization, allure, and cost.

The economies of fast-growing South Asian economies (26% GDP increase in 2030) and North America (14.5% GDP increase) would benefit the most from AI, together accounting for $10.7 trillion or over 70% of the global economic effect.
