smallcase.com and the mobile application ‘smallcase’ is a product owned and operated by Smallcase Technologies Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Smallcase Technologies”, “us”, “we”). Smallcase Technologies is committed to safeguarding any information submitted to us on our website (“Site”) and/or the services made available through the Site or mobile applications (collectively referred to as the “Platform”) of Smallcase Technologies (“Services”). The privacy notice provides you with a summary of the type of information collected by us, policy regarding use of that information and measures taken to safeguard that information.

We may also allow our group companies, affiliates and subsidiary companies, and third parties to use our Platform to offer their products and services to you, under applicable terms and conditions specified on our Platform from time to time.

Information collected via technology

  • We use authorised third-party service providers to power payment transactions on our platform. Further, as per the applicable regulations, we use tokenisation services from certified third-party service providers to facilitate card transactions on our Platform. The third-party service providers use/process such information and further transfer your information to the card networks (such as Visa, Mastercard). Such third-party service providers have the necessary rights to use/process/transfer such information to provide tokenisation services in accordance with the applicable regulations. Such third-party service providers are PCI-DSS compliant. We do not store any information that is provided by you to facilitate such card transactions on our Platform.

Use of personal information

In general, personal Information you submit to us regarding you or your company is used either to respond to requests that you make, or to aid us in serving you better. We use such Personal Information in the following ways:

  • To provide improved administration of our Platform and Services;
  • To provide the Services you request;
  • To improve the quality of experience when you interact with our Platform and Services;

Information like your demographic information, financial information like bank account details etc, and other information like PAN/Aadhar will be utilised for and shared with regulated entities like Investment Advisors, Research Analysts, Brokers, NBFCs, Banks etc for various regulatory purposes (KYC, AML etc) as required by applicable SEBI and RBI regulations. Your investment information (such as value of holdings, returns etc) will also be utilised and shared with smallcase managers (Investment Advisors/Research Analysts or other regulated entities creating smallcases) for the aforesaid and tracking purposes.

Additionally, your demographic information, financial information, investment information and other data might be shared with the group companies defined in disclosures and other third parties in accordance with the terms and conditions mentioned here

Disclosure to third parties

We may be required from time to time to disclose any personal information collected by us to governmental or judicial bodies or agencies or our regulators based on their requirement to comply with the applicable laws including cyber laws. We may share your information including personal information to third parties including group companies to enable the provision of services to you and/ or to carry out technical, logistical and other functions on our behalf. (eg. Sending emails or newsletters to users).

Creation of anonymous information

We may create Anonymous Information records from Personal Information by excluding information (such as the name and email).
