Invest in India’s AI value chain across compute infrastructure, digital networks, and software

Investment Rationale

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly becoming the next infrastructure layer of the global economy, and India is entering one of the largest digital infrastructure build-out cycles in its history.

Over ₹27 lakh crore has already been committed toward AI data centres, compute infrastructure, and digital networks. India currently has ~1.5 GW of data centre capacity, but demand is projected to reach 6.5 GW by 2030. The domestic AI market, valued at ₹1.2 lakh crore in 2025, is expected to exceed ₹11.7 lakh crore by 2032, growing at nearly 39% annually. AI could contribute ₹32–39 lakh crore to India’s GDP by the end of the decade.

Yet investors face a structural challenge: how do you actually invest in the AI opportunity in India?

Unlike the US, where companies like NVIDIA or Microsoft dominate the narrative, India’s AI opportunity lies across an ecosystem of infrastructure, engineering, and digital platforms.

AI systems require:

  • large-scale compute infrastructure
  • data centres with power and cooling
  • fibre connectivity
  • semiconductor design
  • enterprise software integration

As a result, the biggest beneficiaries of AI in India may not be obvious AI companies. They are often the firms building the infrastructure and enabling the ecosystem behind it.

This makes AI investing less about finding a single “AI stock” and more about capturing the broader infrastructure stack powering India’s AI economy.
