The team identifies non financial factors which affect shareholder wealth coupled with financial strength of the companies. The factors include any controversies such as tax fraud, consumer complaints, business ethics, marketing etc which will flag companies with business models that are likely to have negative impact on shareholder wealth.

The research team picks individual stocks considering a host of criteria such as&nbsp;positive ESG momentum by ranking companies based on plethora of ESG factors. Fror example, Environmental: water efficiency, toxic chemicals reduction, green buildings, ozone depleting substances, agrochemical products etc., Social: health &amp; safety, salary gap, employee satisfaction, women mangers, turnover of employees, policies towards human rights, ethical trading, whistle blower protection etc., Governance: Board compensation, audit committee board, anti-take over policy, insider dealings controversies, Board background and skills, etc.

Weights are chosen to broadly mimick sectoral weights of the Nifty 50 index.

This smallcase has a yearly rebalance schedule. Once every year, the research team reviews this smallcase and realign the weights with the selected asset allocation strategy for the next year
