A Rules-Based Strategy which seeks to identify Quality companies that are relatively Undervalued.

Large, mid and Small cap companies which are part of BSE 500 or Nifty 500.

The team does in depth research on the criteria to be used for constituent screening.

The companies from the initial investment universe are screened basis the following in a step-wise manner: Marcellus forensic accounting screen, remove companies with high debt, remove companies with inconsistent profitability. Additionally, companies with low or decelerating past growth are also removed. From this screened list, around 30-45 companies, which are both profitable as well as undervalued, are selected at each quarterly rebalance.

Constituents in the final portfolio are weighted basis relative undervaluation measured using free cash flow yield. So companies which are more undervalued get higher allocation in final portfolio.

This smallcase will be rebalanced on an as-needed basis
