Research team tracks performance and mutual correlation of various asset classes. The smallcase aspires not to give high allocation to those asset classes where valuations or past performance is high. Also while assigning mutual weights, the smallcase aims to lower the mutual correlation and concentration of risk exposures to ensure resilience.

The team does in-depth research to decide inter-se allocation among various ETF. Care is taken to include ETFs with high liquidity, low tracking error and low costs.

The smallcase respects the fact that all asset classes move in cycles that mean revert. The key parameter that the smallcase tracks is the part returns of an asset class. The asset class whose past returns are high is given a lower weight and the asset class whose past returns are low are given a higher weight.&nbsp;

This smallcase will be rebalanced on an as-needed basis

The allocation is decided among multi asset ETFs to ensure that portfolio correlation among assets is minimised and the smallcase doesnot own high proportion of overvalued asset classes at any point in time
