About the smallcase
Startups are often thought of as needing to be based in developed countries where there are more resources available. However, this misses the point: startups can begin anywhere. In fact, it's often the countries with the greatest needs that present the biggest opportunities for startups. Startups are at home in underdeveloped countries, nations in conflict, and those countries new to entrepreneurship. Each of these environments offer unique problems which startups can take advantage of not just to make a profit, but also to make an impact.
India is one such nation where the start-up revolution began decades back and is home to 100 Unicorns. We are introducing the Startup India investment basket to identify listed stocks that show startup characteristics and hence have the potential to be part of the next 1000 unicorns.
Based on our Proprietary algorithm, we add constraints to find the best stocks. The basket suits investors looking for very high-risk investment opportunities.
- Stock Selection - Basket of stocks selected from the listed universe of NSE
- Rebalancing - Weekly
- This is a Very High-Risk Basket and hence is unsuitable for all investors.
This is NOT a Model Portfolio. Instead, subscribers should work with their investment advisor to allocate the weights for their stocks according to their individual risk profiles. This will help ensure the portfolio is tailored to meet their specific needs and goals.
