Time for another AMA session!

This time’s topic is, “Insights: Small & Mid-Cap Mania – Overvalued or Opportunity?”.

Mark your calendars!

  • Date: Sunday, April 21st
  • Time: 11:00 AM

We’re sure you’ve heard what small and mid-cap means but what exactly does ‘overvalued’ mean? We’ll break down these terms in simple language and prepare you for an exciting Ask Me Anything (AMA) session with Windmill Capital, where you can unlock insights into the world of small and mid-cap stock portfolios!

Imagine the stock market like a city. On one side, you have towering skyscrapers – these are the large-cap companies, well-established businesses everyone recognizes. On the other side, there’s a bustling marketplace filled with smaller shops and cafes – these are small and mid-cap companies, younger, faster-growing businesses with exciting potential.

So, how do we categorize them? It’s all in the ranking!

  • Large Cap: These are the top 100 companies, receiving the biggest trophies for their established success and value. They represent the market’s blue-chip giants.
  • Mid Cap: Think of them as the companies ranked 101st to 250th. They’re rising stars with impressive growth, but haven’t quite reached the top tier yet. They’re on the fast track to becoming future award winners.
  • Small Cap: This group represents all the remaining companies, like energetic newcomers vying for recognition. While they may be less established, they have the potential for explosive growth – think of them as the ceremony’s wild cards!

Why are small and mid-cap riskier?

Think of it like this – a small cafe might have a delicious new recipe that takes off, making it wildly successful. But there’s also a chance it might not work out. Large companies, like established restaurants, are more likely to have a steady income, but their growth might be slower.

Now, let’s talk about overvaluation.

Imagine that delicious cafe gets so popular, that everyone is willing to pay any price for a cup of coffee!  This is similar to an overvalued stock. The price might be much higher than the company’s actual value.

Confused? Don’t worry! Windmill Capital is here to help!
