Research360 is a stock market research platform from Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited. It offers stock screeners, trading recommendations, stock insights and research strategies.
While users could discover investment and trading recommendations on Research360, they had to separately log in to their stock broker’s app to execute those trades.

The Challenge
Research360 wanted to minimise the friction for the user between discovering the investment and trading ideas and executing those trades on the user’s respective broker.
Users who found an investment opportunity through its screeners, insights or recommendations had to leave the platform, find the security again on their broker app and place the order separately.
The platform needed an execution layer that allowed users to place the trades with the respective brokers natively on the Research360 platform.

With smallcase Gateway, Research360 extended its proposition from just providing investment/ trade research to a research + execution platform Research360’s users were able to execute thousands of trading ideas using Gateway’s SST module. The integration creates a more seamless experience for users while allowing Research360 to keep more of the investment journey within its ecosystem and focus on its core strengths—research, recommendations and investor tools.
